Jim Scarborough was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He developed an interest in podiatric health, influenced by his father, who was a podiatrist. Jim ended up taking the podiatry program at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and earned his Ph.D. in podiatry. He is also the founder of Shoefinale, and is the Chief Editor in staff, and manages all articles by making sure they are not just educational, accurate but are of the best quality. When Jim is not working, he indulges in science fiction as that is his passion. He is married to a nurse and has three children.
